Megan is a social worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW) and Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Megan has experience supporting diverse client populations & is passionate about working with adults of all ages through times of transition including loss or illness. Megan brings experience from a hospital background where she has spent time working with patients & families with chronic illnesses, as well as following a traumatic accident. She is experienced in supporting individuals with various concerns including grief & loss, anxiety, chronic illness, traumatic injury, & times of personal and family crises.
Megan is an empathic and compassionate social worker who integrates a strengths-based approach into helping clients navigate life’s toughest challenges. She utilizes an integrative, client-centred & evidence-based approach that focuses on reaching goals together. Megan draws upon a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models and techniques and is heavily influenced by solutions-focused therapy, mindfulness, CBT & systems theory.
