Dinah

Dinah is a social worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).

Dinah takes a gentle, empowering and collaborative approach in providing social work support to her clients. She has experience working with all populations ranging from young children to the geriatric population. From her experience working in the hospital and other private settings, Dinah has gained valuable experience supporting clients to cope with illness, manage significant mental health challenges, handle life transitions and deal with loss and grief. Dinah believes that creating a safe, anti-oppressive and non-judgmental environment for her clients can empower them to find their inner strengths and foster the mind and body connection.

In addition to seeing clients through Daurio Counselling, Dinah works in the Neurology Unit at The Hospital for Sick Children. At SickKids, Dinah supports patients and their families as they cope with the impact of life-changing neurological conditions. Dinah also has experience working in adult care hospitals in various medical and intensive care units.
