Paula is a clinical social worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She has worked in community mental health since 2013 in Canada and the United States. She has expertise working with adolescents and adults diagnosed with a range of mental health and substance abuse challenges, specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

Paula takes a client-centered approach, with an added emphasis on anti-oppression and cultural awareness, where she strives to work collaboratively with her clients to help them achieve their goals. She integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities (including CBT, DBT, EFT) psycho-education and creative outlets into her work to best support a client's strengths. 

In addition to working at the practice, Paula works at Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH) helping women with complex trauma build coping skills and resiliency.
