Group Programs

Daurio Counselling is pleased to offer some exciting group programs to support our broader community 

DBT Skills Group- Young Adults

Wednesday's 5:30pm- 7:30pm

June 21st- August 30th 

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) has been shown to help people manage strong emotions and cope with various mental health challenges. In this 9-week, two-hour DBT skills group, we will teach you basic skills from four DBT modules: Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance. These skills can support individuals to cope with challenging emotions, work through crises, decrease isolation, and set appropriate boundaries. 

If you are struggling with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • PTSD or past trauma

  • Challenges navigating anger and/or mood 

  • Difficulty setting boundaries

  • Personality disorders

  • Addiction

  • Other mental health challenges

This group may be for you!

In order to participate in this group, you must:

  • Have an individual therapist (if you do not have one already, we can support you in getting connected to one!)

  • Be able to commit to all 9 sessions

  • Be between the ages of 18-35
