Zoe is a clinical social worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Zoe uses a client-centered and culturally sensitive approach to allow for individuals and families to address their thoughts, feelings, emotions, and needs in a supportive and safe environment. Zoe incorporates various evidence-based modalities, including CBT and Mindfulness practice to support clients in addressing their needs while collaborating to develop healthy coping skills. She is committed to assisting in times of transition, stress, and uncertainty, while creating an environment to draw connections between thoughts and behaviors and create positive change. Zoe recognizes and values the courage in seeking counseling, and is eager to support clients on their therapeutic journey.
In addition to Daurio Counselling, Zoe is currently employed at Mount Sinai Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit and Medicine program. She has expertise in providing strengths-based support for individuals and families with chronic health conditions or terminal illness, mental health concerns, and experiences of trauma. Zoe also works with individuals and families seeking support for grief and bereavement.
